this may be an unpopular opinion


but if you're smoking while you're pregnant, why should I make any concessions due to your pregnancy? you can't say "I can't do that cause I'm pregnant" then hop outside and light up a smoke.

Depends. Could she do that non-pregnant? If this is a work situation, could you get into trouble via the ADA? Pregnancy is a covered class, iirc.

I don't smoke, and people who smoke while pregnant are usually just ignorant.

Well, I tired faster when I was pregnant. But I don't do heavy lifting on a good day, much less when I'm pregnant.

"Because I'm pregnant" doesn't really fly with me because I was working 15-18 hour days when I was 7-8 months pregnant with Jamey, after Hurricane Ike.
